The only difference is the device, using /dev/ulpt0 or /dev/unlpt0. My "lpd Printing With FreeBSD" demonstrates: http://www.wonkity.com/~wblock/docs/html/lpdprinting.html But a foo2zjs printer may require a firmware download before it is even detected as a printer, and then foo2zjs probably requires CUPS. There are some threads on forums.freebsd.org that may help.
