	A friend of mine had to add PNP ID String of the modem to the Kernal 
compilation stuff. (Please forgive me, I'm not a programmer so I don't 
know the technical jargon here,) as soon as we recompiled the kernal, it 
worked great. Perhaps a programmer here can tell us how this is done?
