The last time I tried the test it was with BIOS version 1008 or 1009
(don't remember which--I do remember that the last upgrade I tried
bumped up the Adaptec BIOS version to 2.11).  There is now BIOS
version 1010 available for the ASUS P2B-LS.  I haven't tried my test
with that BIOS.

I have seen the same problem on the Supermicro P6DGU as well, which has a
different chipset (the P2B-LS is BX, the P6DGU is GX).
