Same here.  Of course I could take a week or three to make sure
our website runs fine with PHP4; and of course, I could keep around
a working copy of the port if it should be removed.  Still, I would
prefer that we should keep php3 for a while longer :)

And BTW, are you sure that the GD/GIF issues do not apply to PHP4?
I have not tested them, of course, but generally, a rebuild of
the module with GD enabled and then an attempt to (re)start
the Apache server was enough to demonstrate the breakage with PHP3.
