Dear FreeBSD porters,

When compiling gnome, more precisely gnomecontrolcenter, I got this message:

AFAIK, libgif (i.e. the giflib port) is no longer part of the Ports
Collection. It has been (?) somehow replaced. BTW, libungif is installed, as
well as all the dependencies of gnomecontrolcenter.

I have gone past the error by issuing a 'make -i install' (as a result,
gnomecontrolcenter WAS built and installed). Yet I wonder what I scr^W am
missing.

TIA,
Salvo
