There's a (currently very quiet) mailing list on ups-devel@glock.com
(mail to majordomo@glock.com).

I'm waiting for the &*%(*& australian supplier to send me a demo unit,
and about a million other things; there's several prototypical UPS
monitoring things happening and lots of big ideas 8)
