I've discoverd that just booting -d
and doing 'trace' is enough.

It seems that the stack or something has been royally screwed.
(possibly the trap frame)

Has anyone done anything with the trap frame over the last 6 weeks?

 BTW where's BDE? he's gone TERRIBLY silent for him..
