>Organization:
Private FreeBSD site - The Netherlands
>Environment:

PTI QL2100 based FC hostbus adapter. Any server will do.
	4.3-stable

>Description:

Server hangs during boot when no FC cable attached to HBA.
Forcing a FC-AL loop up by plugging in a cable makes boot continue.
Apparantly the expected timeout never happens.

>How-To-Repeat:

Boot machine without FC cable attached.

>Fix:

	Matt knows.. ;-)
