I just noticed that when running 3 iij-ppp dialin usermode sessions,
the system load average goes from 0.05 to over 2.1, but when there
are 12 sliplogin sessions and no iij-ppp sessions running and load
average stays at around 0.50.

System is a P100 with 16 serial ports.

What gives?
