No; the problem is that there is no clear distinction of which
variables must be set in /boot/loader.conf and which can/must be set
in /etc/sysctl.conf (or later, manually).  The solution presented was
to put everything in /boot/loader.conf and have a script run later
that would re-do those settings that did not take because they are
required to happen after boot.
