a user on an NT machine is running as user Administrator on this NT machine and trying to rsh over to one of our machines. In the logs I get the message Oct 9 15:48:59 easy1 rshd[29176]: Administrator@b52.a-concept.com as aconcept: permission denied. cmd='/usr/sbin/sendmail -qRa-concept.com' In ruserok(3) it says Zero (success) is returned if ... the host and re- mote user name are found in the ``.rhosts'' file How does one specify the host and remote user name in the .rhosts file? I've only every put the host in and can't find a reference for the format of the .rhosts file. if the user comes in as 'aconcept@b52.a-concept.com as aconcept' it works fine, but fails in the case listed above.
