Subject: Generating BIND9 rndc keys on FBSD-Alpha?

I am currently testing out BIND9 code on a FreeBSD Alpha (4.6.1-REL) system
we have in the lab, and I keep coming up with an issue in generating rndc
keys:

- -=-
% /usr/local/sbin/rndc-confgen -a
rndc-confgen: generate key: out of entropy
- -=-

I already tried the usual suggestions under FreeBSD (rndcontrol on the
command line and rand_irqs in /etc/conf) but to no avail. Is there a
different way to seed /dev/random under the Alpha platform? (and has
anyone been able to get rndc-confgen to generate rndc keys?)

Thanks in advance for any help, and I'll pass the information on to the
BIND developers. :)

Best Wishes -
