With your patch they are not necessary, because you remove site.py*
and easy-install.pth by hand.
If you want to see them in action, here is the patch. ;)

Well, it works, and that's enough. :)

I also suggest adding a new variable PYEASYINSTALL_EGG_UNZIP, to
install Python egg unzipped, if set.
