That's the entire contents of the file...

This file contains any messages produced by compilers while
running configure, to aid debugging if configure makes a mistake.

I will try running portupgrade (although I'm a bit nervous since
everything pretty much works fine now, and I am sure that I'll run into
broken ports for stuff that's currently working just fine... some stuff
probably hasn't been upgraded since 4.4).
