System is IBM Netfinity 4500R, dual 667MHz CPUs, 1G RAM, ServeRAID 3L (2x 9G striped SCSI disks), S3-Savage 4 Video, saw with CURRENT kernel/system approx a week ago, rebuild current snapshot from today to see if it's still happening or not. Don't recall if it happened back at 5.1R, but definitely did happen prior to 5.2 Beta and RCs with 5.1 CURRENT, and including 5.2 RCs/CURRENT System's been religiously rebuilt ensuring kernel and source/base are in sync, and also did a complete ports forced rebuild as of last kernel build of the entire system to see if some odd dependency problem got introduced, still locked up.. following versions of XFree and friends: [0] # pkg_info -x XFree86 | grep 'Information' Information for XFree86-FontServer-4.3.0_3: Information for XFree86-Server-4.3.0_12: Information for XFree86-clients-4.3.0_6: Information for XFree86-documents-4.3.0: Information for XFree86-font100dpi-4.3.0: Information for XFree86-font75dpi-4.3.0: Information for XFree86-fontDefaultBitmaps-4.3.0: Information for XFree86-fontEncodings-4.3.0: Information for XFree86-fontScalable-4.3.0: Information for XFree86-libraries-4.3.0_6: Information for XFree86-manuals-4.3.0: dmesg for system as follows: Copyright (c) 1992-2003 The FreeBSD Project.
