Ok, I had tried the drm-stable-20030312.diff to a 4.8-* cvsup'ed yesterday
and it will just freeze the machine when trying to do the drm agp stuff.
It just sits there.

Same stuff when reverting to the old 4.7-stable kernel I was running for
months and using the new mga.ko

This is a SMP system with a Matrox G450.

I'll build a uniprocessor kernel and see if that works.

Quick observation of the drm-kmod port is that it mentions -DSMP and
-DAPIC_IO but I don't see it used in the drm-kmod sources itself
