Any idears? I think it's broken. A soft mount should cause NFS to give up after a while, but I've never seen it happen, and I've given it a long time. I'm copying -hackers on this one. Maybe somebody can tell us either why it should be like this, or why it will all be better when we get devfs. Maybe somebody will even like to fix it. (And yes, guys, I'd like to do it myself, but I don't have the time). Greg
