Indeed, some of Artisoft's NIC's may suck. However, "those cards" that the question was asked about are AE2's, not NodeRunner 2000's which are entirely different Artifsoft NIC's. All the AE2 and AE3 models are jumpered; I've never gotten anything but excellent service from them. The NE2000 clone mode is very clean, unlike a lot of clone NIC's. Also, there is really no need to send someone you are responding to a copy of your post in addition to what you send to the list unless it's been indicated that they are not subscribed and therefore need a separate copy.
