I'm looking to find a _reliable_ FreeBSD consultant in the San Diego, CA area who can assist me with maintaining my colocated web server. The hours are flexible (am/pm/weekends - you name it) and on an as-needed basis to perform upgrades, install new software, etc.. I am currently running FreeBSD 2.2.8-stable with sendmail, procmail, majordomo, proftpd, nameserver, mysql, etc... Experience with shell and perl/cgi programming and mysql a plus for other programming project that I have, as well as setting up Stronghold and other aspects of secure server. My immediate needs are to: 1) duplicate the colocated server hard drive to a new hard drive on a backup machine for my office for offsite backup 2) set up cable modem (cox) for FreeBSD on backup server in my office to run backups of server on a regular basis 3) help set up majordomo user address plussing for filtering of spam on accounts that have mail forwarded instead of pop accounts 4) set up of secure server (stronghold) It doesn't amount to a huge amount of time each month, but I'd really like to find someone who is looking for some extra contract work with flexible hours and who will be reliable. My office is in downtown San Diego which is where the work will need to be done from.
