support from a company. This is a mailling list.

I believe that it will. Probably pretty slow, though.

No. The install program needs the memory, but the regular system can work
in the smaller memory. That doesn't mean that you'd be happy with the
speed. 

I actually have a 486 DX/2 50 (I think) with 8 meg of ram, running at home
as a gateway. Ethernet to user ppp. Works great. But I wouldn't use it
as a desktop.
