I expect so. The devtools port simply installs the necessary packages to
do (basic) development. Adding your own packages only extends whatever
you can develop. The only gotcha is that you have to make sure that you
use Linux headers, libraries and tools. It is possible that some FreeBSD
native bits are picked up inadvertently, but I expect that with the
right environment variables or scripts you should be able to prevent it
if it happens at all.
