Just populate it with something resonable. I'm going to put in a vote in for against: IBM has a page like this for searching out APARs. The upper limit is 100 or so on a dropbox and I want to see all of the returned matches because there is a lot of repetition and some info I might want to see is getting cut off. But I can't. :( Keep it as a number field.
