My ISP uses dynamic addressing. So I have to use this ifaddr in my ppp.conf: set ifaddr 0 0 I have also tried: set ifaddr 0 I *have* to set it like that if I want to make a connection. That's the only way it will work when I dial in by hand. But when I try to use the -auto option, it won't even attempt to dial. Says for -auto, it NEEDS a dstaddr (destination address.) So if I "set ifaddr" one way, i can't dial out. If I set it the other way, "ppp -auto scriptname" won't even attempt to dial out. Help?
