But as Robert has observed, David is the real Alzheimers' case here;
he was told at Usenix that Erez' account had been approved.  I suspect
that David's subsequent worryload had simply buried the fact.

For general reference, since people are likely to be interested, the
delay within -core over approving another "external developer" account
was related to lengthy discussion over the risks and tradeoffs related
to the entire "external developer" model.  There are a number of
distinct opinions within core, and concerns regarding the security of
the repository are likely to drive some more changes in the future.

Regardless, we still need to provide external developers with resources,
thus Erez was approved.
