> Could you please recomend any books for the first-time UNIX administrator?

Hello!!

When I first started a couple years ago I used:

	"Unix in a Nutshell"
	(ISBN: 1-56592-001-5)
and
	"Essential System Administration"
	(ISBN: 0-937175-80-3)

both from O'Reilly and Associates.

Hope that helps.....

Good Luck!
