I think that in the FreeBSD related docs has something about that issue. It's because Linux VMware doesn't know nothing about sysmouse mouse type, so it's complained about that. I've downloaded tons of docs from the vmware site and RTFM'ed as much as possible. This time through it's going a bit more smoothly configuring win98 as the guest OS. However, right as I go into VMware I get a dialog box that says: unsupported host mouse type "sysmouse" unable to open mouse device for full-screen VGA. Full-screen VGA will not be supported. I've seen VMware go into full-screen mode--the very first time I fired it up after a clean install of the latest port. Does this ring any bells with anybody? I am -NOT- running moused on this machine because I have a logitech MouseMan+ mouse with a "wheel." moused severly screws with the wheel so I don't run it and use a "raw" configuration in X: Section "Pointer" Protocol "Auto" Device "/dev/psm0" Buttons 5 ZAxisMapping 4 5 EndSection Could this be the problem? -Jr To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-emulation" in the body of the message
