Hello once again,

What could that mean? I'm trying to
build the X11 toolkit gal-0.14 (needed for
gnome and icewm...again...brr) the build fails
and the following error messages appear:

Now I am not a great hacker, but I don't see any syntax errors
in the specified files. I have tried to build the whole thing
by hand (eg not building it as a port) but it results in the same
crap. I would happily ignore that gnome stuff if someone could
tell me how to build the latest icewm-1.0.8 without having to have
gnome built for it. Somehow, I managed to build it on my laptop
which was a rather fresh installation of 4.4-RELEASE (Sept. 28th or
so); it just said that if I wanted gnome support is should define
WITH_GNOME or USE_GNOME IIRC as a make arg. Not so on my work-
station.

So please enlighten me, either how to build gal or icewm..
I believe it has something to do with the lots of gnome libs and apps
with different versions being installed on the system over a year or two
(ie gtk 1.2.7, 1.2.8 or gnomelibs 1.0.x, 1.2.x, 1.4.1 all showing up
in pkg_info).

Expect a post by me to this list regarding this problem some time...

thanks in advance and regards
