You know, you could have asked. You could even have presented a decent
technical opinion on this point. Committing on top of my commit
(where there is no _breakage_ like Peter fixed) is OUT.

And if I don't share your opinion? MAINTAINER= is supposed to be a
deciding factor here.

"Offensive" is a strong word; careful not to let the argument break
too many technical boundaries.

Please don't do ANY more committing in this area unles there is a
solid technical reason, AND you have discussed it with me.
