The box is a dual 500 MHz Pentium III, intel motherboard Tecram SCSI controllers (the sym driver) and 27 IBM ultrastar 36LZX 9 GB drives, these drives are setup as 2 stripes of 13 drives each, which is mirrored, and a spare disk. I'm not sure if this is a vinum problem, or a problem with the sym driver, I hope someone is able to help us here. Here is what we did.
