my 5501 has just an SD card :-)   so.. possibly a month is conservative.

I sort of like the linux configurator that asks you questions so that 
you don't need to know the magic incantations to do all the options.  
But certainly the default can go as long as it's really easy to find 
the right way to make it. No-one runs a standard build on those 
machines. Or at least not a CURRENT standard build.
