I didn't get this at boot up, I got this when the system had beening running
for about 2-3 hours after the upgrade (kernel,world,merge,etc)

4.7.release (thought I was running stable):

supfile has:

*default release=cvs tag=RELENG_4_7

dmesg:

FreeBSD 4.7-RELEASE #0: Thu Oct 10 20:22:49 CDT 2002
    bud@hydra:/u2/system/obj/u2/system/src/sys/HYDRA

CPU: AMD-K6tm w/ multimedia extensions (299.94-MHz 586-class CPU)
  Origin = "AuthenticAMD"  Id = 0x570  Stepping = 0
  Features=0x8001bf<FPU,VME,DE,PSE,TSC,MSR,MCE,CX8,MMX>
  AMD Features=0x400<<b10>>

real memory  = 184549376 (180224K bytes)
avail memory = 176783360 (172640K bytes)

Should we start putting in bug reports to developers? I have heard of
atleast 8-9 people (in real life or email lists) that have been getting
kernel panics with 4.7.anything

Regards,
Jack
