It runs rather sweetly. Follks, I'm a bit tiered hearing about all these great quake tools but with rare installation guides available and uncertainess about the exact environment it can be used in. Saturday is ports freeze and I will add what works for me: - emulation/linux_glide [installs binary] - emulation/linux_mesa [compiles libMesaGl.so using liunux_devel] - add the hacked svgalib to emulators/linux_lib, bumping version to 2.5 [binary only] - NO quake or quake2 port since you need the game CD and versions change rapidly so that there's no point to put it on a FreeBSD release CD. If someone has anything that works better or an idea how to provide a useful quake or quake2 port, then please submit it by Friday evening to -ports with a CC: to me.
