Ok thanks I see what is going on.  HTML2TXT was defined in two places.
The 'spellcheck' definition was overriding the definition used by the
HTML->TXT target.  links1 works just as good as w3m for this task, so
I've modified the definition to use it for the spellcheck target also
and removed w3m from the makefiles.
