There's a port for kermit; it accesses the Columbia ftp site, then
applies some patches.  If you installed the ports on your hard drive,
it would be in /usr/ports/comm/kermit, otherwise in comparable places
on ftp.cdrom.com or on one of the FreeBSD cd's.
