Yes. I installed 4.3-RELEASE from cdrom and did a make install in the ports/x11/XFree86-4 directory. If I remove the /usr/X11R6 direcory and unpacks the X11 that is on the install cd then X works fine with my ATI card but it does not have support for my NVidia card. Regards, Ivar E. This is an EPoX 8kta3 mainboard. Was this a fresh install? I have heard weird stories in which old XFree 3.3.x messed up XFree when it started up. -- Jeroen Ruigrok van der Werven/Asmodai asmodai@[wxs.nl|freebsd.org|xmach.org] Documentation nutter/C-rated Coder, finger asmodai@ninth-circle.dnsalias.net http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/developers-handbook/ Fame is the perfume of heroic deeds...
