No one has been able to submit any logs pointing to the issue whether in kernel debug mode or normal. Nothing shows up in the logs. The reports are the same except some users screen just locks up while others the machine just spontaneosly reboots. It doesn't seem to be linked to any specific video driver as reports are coming from nvidia, tnt, avi, and matrox users. The only thing that is common is freebsd 5.X and xorg. My first suggestion to you would be cvsup src and ports and make sure you have the latest xorg and world/kernel built and see if that fixes things. I doubt it will change things, but it would atleast put you on same playing field as everyone else. Wasn't there an update to xorg-server not too long ago? Whatever this is, the more work I try to do in X causes more reboots. I had 3 from 8:30am until 10:30am yesterday. From there i just used screen and terminals. Something with graphics seems to cause the problem.
