I think you can extract the first 512 bytes of your root partition
(assuming there's a bootloader there), copy it to your NTFS partition and
and do something like:

default=3DC:\BOOTSECT.BSD=3D"FreeBSD"
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS=3D"Microsoft Windows XP=20


Personally I'd kill the NT boot loader and I'd configure
grub to boot your XP.
