The patches to the brooktree driver allowed my WinTV card to be recognised. Yea!!! Now, I need to know where to find the correct application software to allow me to do video and TV under X. After I pass that hurdle I'll be looking for 'standards compliant' video conferencing software. Any pointers would be welcome. BTW this is a 'current' topic - the system in question is an SMP/current (today's kernel) system.
