Janet,
I have the same card, but can't test it because it's linked to a
switch. I need full-duplex. Try using the mediaopt flag. ifconfig ep0
a.b.c.d mediaopt half-duplex netmask 255.x.y.z should do it. The
mediaopt flag is mentioned in the ifconfig man page.

}Is there a way to force a 3c574-TX PCMCIA NIC into half-duplex mode?
}The ep driver doesn't seem to allow this. My problem is that my
}3c574-TX in my laptop will not work when plugged in to my
}10/100 switch
}- all the lights are on, but no traffic is ever sent or
