I have installed qmail from the ports. Configured it to use Maildir format. I have followed TEST.deliver and can see that new mail arrives in the Maildir/new folder. When I try to follow the TEST.receive doc, and I #telnet 127.0.0.1 25 I get: Trying 127.0.0.1... telnet: connect to address 127.0.0.1: Connection refused telnet: Unable to connect to remote host I have tried it as root as well as a regular user. No joy. I have followed www.lifewithqmail.org for the install setup. What have I missed? I have tried to install qpopper from the ports, but it can't find the tarball on the internet. So, I installed qpopper.4.0.3 from qualcom. Any problems there? thanks, Darryl To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
