Have you got any software in mind that would help autogenerate this?  I'm
tempted to whip up a DTD that defines the format, and then write a little
script that autogenerates the HTML from that, which would make maintenance
a bit easier.

Before I do that, though, we need to define the problem a bit more.

Of course, feel free to do this in plain HTML as well.
