Yes it is supported, and yes it is listed in:

ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/i386/4.3-RELEASE/HARDWARE.TXT

I personally use the 3Com 905b and 905c cards in my FreeBSD boxes.
