Hi all and Pedro,

so let's have a ballot;

1. en-openoffice-3-devel_US
2. en_US-apache-openoffice-3-devel

I vote for 2.

Pedro:

Unfortunately, it is not.
In the ports tree, language name should add as prefix.
cf.

$ cd ports/russian/rux/Makefile ; make -V PKGNAME
$ cd ports/french/homard/Makefile ; make -V PKGNAME
etc...
it is documented in porters hand book.

5.2.5 Package Naming Conventions
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en/books/porters-handbook/makefile-naming.html
The package name should look like [language[_region]]-name[[-]compiled.specifics]-version.numbers.

en_US-apache-openoffice-3-devel should fit the conventions.

thanks,
 Nakata Maho
