1.  Not unless someone writes a driver.  Not likely, IOMega isn't too big
about releasing specifications.

2.  MO IDE?  I would be more comfortable with a SCSI version.  I don't
know if the wd driver can handle insert/ejects, or if it even acts like a
hard disk.  If it requires a special driver then no way unless someone
writes one.

SCSI tapes are very well supported.
