If so, you could cvsup to a src directory on the HD and then use something like rsync or tar to move the files over. Just check the man pages for information about preserving ownership and permissions. This idea is just for brainstorming. I've never tried it with FreeBSD. I've tried things resembling it with MacOS X. Good luck, Jaime
