hi BSD 's

i am facing prob to run talk-command
when i type talk  to reach another user on my machine (localhost)
i keep getting
[No connection yet]
[Checking for invitation on caller's machine]
[Checking for invitation on caller's machine]
[Checking for invitation on caller's machine]
.....

what could be wrong?
