I've faithfully downloaded the latest bits from ftp://vulture.dmem.strath.ac.uk/pub/bt848/22x/ (dated Sep 2 and 7), and used them with limited success. dmesg says: [Snip...] Probing for devices on PCI bus 0: chip0 rev 1 on pci0:0:0 chip1 rev 1 on pci0:1:0 chip2 rev 1 on pci0:1:1 chip3 rev 1 int d irq ?? on pci0:1:2 chip4 rev 1 on pci0:1:3 bktr0 rev 2 int a irq 12 on pci0:10:0 Hauppauge WinCast/TV, Philips PAL I tuner. pci0:10:1: vendor=0x109e, device=0x0878, class=multimedia (misc) int a irq 12 [no driver assigned] pci0:11: vendor=0x121a, device=0x0001, class=multimedia (video) [no driver assigned] vga0 rev 0 int a irq 12 on pci0:12:0 Probing for PnP devices: [Snip...] The video card is a Stealth64 DRAM with 2Mb. I also have a Monster3D. fxtv-0.47 compiled just fine. After starting fxtv I get a garbled fxtv-window: some channels show only snow, and on some channels black and white noisy screens. Sound is OK though, for most of the channels. AFC seems to work. The card works without problems in Windows98. Does anyone have a clue about what might be wrong?
