Fuck fuck fuck fuck. Okay guys, the PCI Mode configuration hack (er check) doesnt work for beans. (sys/i386/isa/pcibus.c) On a Compaq if you force mode 1 (by re-arranging the source code, see NetBSD sources for details that seemed to be stripped out of the FreeBSD source before entering the tree) the PCI bus (and adaptec 2940 in it) works just fine. Does anyone know how to really check for which mode the PCI bus is in?
