True; but it does cause unnecessary network traffic and many, many
spurious log entries.
Slightly more insidiously, Dynamic Updates will often leave your network
and attempt to complete an update operation with other nameservers.
Network administrators generally don't appreciate this. I used to run a
TLD nameserver and the box used to see anything between 12,000 and
25,000 update requests per day.

If you're not using Dynamic Update, please disable it.
