I'm sure that you used to be able to get there from the 'Latest Release' page linked from the start: http://www.freebsd.org/releases/6.1R/announce.html I've found what I was after on the Get FreeBSD page, but since this is the 4th time I've done this in as many weeks, I'd suggest that it's not intuitive.
